Wang Haiyan

Wang Haiyan is an associate professor and master's supervisor at the School of Foreign Languages, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. She holds a Ph.D. from Tsinghua University and was a visiting scholar at the Laboratory of Aphasia and Neuro-Linguistic Research at Northwestern University in the United States. She is also a council member of the Language Cognition and Intelligence Development Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Language Modernization and a member of the Language Disorder Rehabilitation Professional Committee of the China Disabled Persons' Rehabilitation Association. The research direction is aphasia and Neurolinguistics. Several empirical papers on aphasia research have been published in journals such as Journal of Neurolinguistics and Aphasiology. The related achievements have won provincial scientific research awards. Currently, there is one project funded by the National Social Science Foundation of China in the later stage. I have presided over one Ministry of Education social science project and one provincial social science project on aphasia, and participated in one national social science project on aphasia as a core member. Forthcoming monograph A Study on Functional Category Deficits of Mandarin-Speaking Individuals with Agrammatic Aphasia (published by Science Press) and New Developments in Neuro-Linguistics (published by Tsinghua University Press).
